Book Summary

Seventeen-year-old Mackenzie Smith is sent away to spend a boring summer at her grandma's. But then she meets Wesley. He tells her exactly what she wants to hear and has information about her past that no one else knows. It's almost like he can read her mind.

Only Wesley isn't who he seems.

By the time Mackenzie discovers his true identity it may be too late. She's in too deep and he won't let her go. Now Mackenzie must call on the strongest power of all in order to save her life.

My Review

This story is about a troubled girl with a lot to learn. What I really liked about this story was that Kenzie makes mistakes. She isn’t perfect and she doesn’t try to be even when she’s on the mend.

This story has strong Christian themes that surround the demons that make up this story. Even still, if you like paranormal, this story should bother too terribly much. It’s like any story of good and evil except that God is specifically reference.

The story is light and flow pretty well. I only had a problem with the timing of events which didn’t add up in the story giving it an insta love feel. Still I enjoyed it.

My book boyfriend is Isaac.
